GitHub is built for developers. RepoEasy is built for everyone. Every statistic on this site is real GitHub data โ we never invent stars, features or instructions. Repository descriptions are the projects' own words from GitHub.
Most Starred is GitHub's own star count, descending โ a popularity ranking, not a quality guarantee.
Recommended is RepoEasy's own transparent score out of 100: Popularity 40 (log-scaled stars) + Activity 25 (how recently code was pushed) + Documentation signals 15 (description, homepage, topics) + Community 10 (log-scaled forks) + License present 10. It is our editorial aid, never an official GitHub ranking.
Categories are our own curated taxonomy, assigned through GitHub topic evidence โ a repository appears in a category only when its topics match that category's discovery patterns. A repository must also pass a quality gate: not archived, has a description, and at least 200 stars. If fewer than 50 qualify, we show the real number โ lists are never padded.
Difficulty is an estimate from project-type signals (for example a no-code topic, or a systems programming language). It helps you plan, but the repository README is always the final word.
Rankings refresh automatically every week (Sunday 02:00 UTC). Last successful refresh: 08 Nov 2026. If GitHub's API is unavailable, the site keeps serving the last successful data.
